Vancouver Badass Film Festival – Girls with Guts Canadian Premiere and Binge and Purgatory Screening

October 11th at the Rio Theatre

3pm Girls with Guts (2021; dir: Becca Kozak) Canadian premiere (with director and subjects attending) of the new documentary which explores post-modern feminism with interviews and gory film clips from Vancouver women horror filmmakers (original working title Vancouver Video Vixens). Girls with Guts screening will be followed by an interactive Q& A panel moderated by Gigi Saul Guerrero with director Becca Kozak and other documentary subjects.

Girls with Guts had its world premiere at Crypticon Seattle on August 28th from Noon to 2pm. Interviewee Ariel Hansen’s “Clout” and “Witches Midnight” directed by interviewee Lisa Ovies also screened.
